Osilinka Project

Pinchi Project

Show printable version of 'Overview' in a New WindowEmail 'Overview' to a friendThe Company's wholly-owned Pinchi Project, covering 28,760 hectares and lying adjacent and to the west of the Osilinka/CAT Project and the Lorraine-Jajay Project, has potential to host a continuation of the mineralized trend. Comprised of the Pinchi, Lar, Fox, Bragg, Nova, Mel, Cath and Lark claims, the property lies adjacent to the great Pinchi Fault some 4.6 kilometres west of the Lorraine-Jajay properties and is prospective for copper-gold-silver mineralization. It was added to the Company's holdings in late 2005. During 2006, a small reconnaissance sampling program was undertaken, followed by an aerial survey in 2007.

The Pinchi Project encompasses strong NW trending rift-related faults (Western and Central faults) which show evidence of strong alkalic alteration and mineralization. The lands also cover the junction of the Pinchi and Ha Ha faults, where a strong magnetic anomaly is associated with the altered Duckling Creek Complex (DCC).

In the 2007 season, a 710 line-kilometre EM Resistivity and Magnetic survey was conducted at the Pinchi property to assist in the definition of drill targets for future programs. The airborne survey was conducted in cooperation with surveys for Serengeti Resources Inc. and Solomon Resources Limited.

A NI 43-101 technical report on the Pinchi Project, dated December 15, 2007, and authored by Barry J. Price, M.Sc, P.Geo, of B.J. Price Geological Consultants Inc., is also available at www.sedar.com.
